Sharing a mother's journey

Produced for the Emergency Nutrition Network, Eleanor Crook Foundation, and 1,000 Days, 2020

For this project, it was important to find a way to humanize the dysfunctional UN wasting treatment system. We wanted to find a way demonstrate that when a system like this doesn't function properly, it has real, human consequences. To do this, we created a backstory and two characters: Esther, and her son Akusi. The series of infographics (see here) followed their journey through the system.
